Packaging protection today must do more than just protect. It must take responsibility.

For years, a large proportion of the NOMAPACK® product range has consisted of 30% recycled material, and this figure is now increasing to 35%. But we’re not stopping there.

The next milestone is here:

The proven protective profiles are gradually being switched to contain 35% certified post-consumer recycled material (PCR). This enables NOMAPACK® to combine top-level protection performance with even more responsible use of resources – and send a strong signal in favour of sustainable products.
This development is more than just a technical advancement; it is a reflection of our commitment to an environmentally conscious future.

The transition is fully transparent: active profiles are certified by Centexbel and clearly labelled.

Why is post-consumer recycled content (PCR) so important?
Unlike the recycling of production waste, where excess material is reused directly, the recycling of old products gives used materials a second life. This reduces landfill waste, conserves resources, and actively promotes the circular economy. In short: PCR is not just sensible – it’s essential for actively shaping ecological change and extending the lifespan of materials intelligently.
