What Sustainability Means to Us

Sustainability means considering economic, social and environmental aspects. As a family-owned company, we follow the three-pillar model of sustainability and pursue long-term business development.

Responsibility towards customers, employees and business partners is an integral part of our corporate management. Key areas of our environmental activities include energy efficiency, the reduction of CO₂ emissions, the use of recycled raw materials and the further development of production processes.

PROTECTION YOU CAN RELY ON

Material performance is essential for protecting goods during transportation. NOMAPACK® foam profiles are designed for demanding logistics environments and provide reliable shock absorption. The products can be adapted to specific customer transport requirements.

VERIFIED RECYCLED CONTENT IN SELECTED PRODUCTS

Since 2021, the recycled content of selected NOMAPACK® foam profiles has been verified by the independent third-party certification body Centexbel in accordance with EN ISO 14021:2016 and EN 15343:2007 under the QA-CER certification scheme (Certificate No. CTB_QA-CER_C_2025041).

The products concerned are identified accordingly on the packaging or in the technical documentation.

These products contain at least 30% recycled polyethylene based on total product weight. The recycled content consists of post-consumer recycled material (PCR) and post-industrial recycled material (PIR).

 

 

Since 2025, selected NOMAPACK® foam profiles identified on the packaging or in the technical documentation contain at least 35% post-consumer recycled (PCR) polyethylene. The range of appropriately identified foam profiles is being expanded gradually. Claims regarding recycled content and/or PCR content apply exclusively to the products specifically identified as such.

The identified products continue to meet the applicable functional and performance requirements.

 

Centexbel’s verification of recycled content relates solely to the material composition of the products covered by the certification. It does not include an assessment of environmental impacts, recyclability or the overall environmental performance of the products.
